Kipeto Energy Limited, the developer of a 100MW wind farm in Kenya,
inked a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Kenya Power.
Located in Oldonyo Narok in Kajiado country, some 50km south west from the capital Nairobi,
the wind project will be the region’s second biggest after the 300MW Lake Turkana wind project.

Zarara Oil and Gas Limited (‘Zarara’), is the Operator, Blocks L4 and L13 are
sizeable exploration block with the L4 block being approximately 5,630km2 in area
and L13 block being approximately 2,180km2 in area. They are located in the highly
prospective gas prone Lamu basin located on the northern coast of Kenya.
